Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 21, 2026 Last Updated: April 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how CarterFive (“CarterFive,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of CarterFive.com (the “Site”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about visitors to the Site (“you” or “user”). By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
At a Glance
Here’s the short version. The rest of this Policy spells it out in full, and controls if anything in this summary seems to say otherwise.
- What we collect. Your IP address, device, and browser information automatically; your name, email, and message if you use the contact form; information collected by cookies, including third-party advertising and analytics cookies.
- What we do with it. Run and improve the Site, respond to your messages, show advertising, and protect the Site from fraud and abuse.
- Who we share it with. Our hosting, security, and content-delivery providers (including Cloudflare); analytics and advertising partners (including Google Analytics and Google AdSense). We do not sell personal information for money.
- Advertising. We use third-party ad networks, which may set cookies to show you interest-based ads. Under California’s privacy law, this may count as “sharing” of personal information — you can opt out. See Section 8 and our Cookies Policy.
- Your rights. Depending on where you live — especially California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and a growing list of other U.S. states — you can ask us to show, correct, delete, or stop sharing your information. Email [email protected] to make a request.
- Children. The Site is for a general adult audience; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
- Questions? Email [email protected] at any time.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to information collected through the Site. It does not apply to information collected by third parties that operate websites, applications, or services linked from the Site, even when we link to them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before interacting with them.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you voluntarily submit to us, including:
- Contact-form submissions. When you contact us through the Site’s contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject line, and the contents of your message.
- Correspondence. If you email us or otherwise correspond with us, we retain the information you provide, including your email address and the contents of your communication.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access the Site, our servers and certain third-party services automatically collect:
- Device and connection data, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, language preference, and screen resolution.
- Usage data, including the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, time spent on pages, the URL that referred you to the Site, and the URLs you click when leaving the Site.
- Log data, including server logs that capture the foregoing for security, debugging, and diagnostic purposes.
2.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, software development kits, and similar technologies to operate and analyze the Site and to serve advertisements. See our Cookies Policy for details, including the categories of cookies we use and how to manage them.
2.4 Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government-issued identification numbers, payment card numbers, biometric identifiers, precise geolocation data, or information revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or health data. If you submit such information to us voluntarily (for example, in a contact-form message), we will treat it with appropriate care and delete it when it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was submitted.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described in Section 2 to:
- Operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
- Respond to your inquiries, correspondence, or requests;
- Understand how the Site is used, measure traffic, and improve content and performance;
- Display advertisements, including through third-party ad networks;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms & Conditions;
- Comply with applicable laws and legal process, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as described in this Policy. We do not sell personal information for money.
- Service providers. We share information with vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf — such as hosting, content delivery, security, analytics, email delivery, and advertising measurement. These providers are permitted to use information only as necessary to provide their services to us.
- Advertising partners. We permit certain third-party advertising partners (including, where applicable, Google AdSense and programmatic ad networks) to collect information through cookies and similar technologies for the purpose of serving advertising on the Site and on other websites. See Section 5 and the Cookies Policy. Under certain state privacy laws, our use of these partners may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (see Section 8).
- Legal, safety, and compliance. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to (i) comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process; (ii) protect the rights, property, or safety of CarterFive, our users, or others; or (iii) investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- Business transfers. If CarterFive is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or other corporate transaction, information may be transferred to the successor or acquirer as part of that transaction, subject to customary confidentiality protections.
- Aggregated or de-identified information. We may share information that has been aggregated or de-identified such that it no longer reasonably identifies an individual.
5. Third-Party Services
The Site uses one or more third-party services that may collect information independently of us, including:
- Analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) to measure how visitors use the Site.
- Advertising networks (such as Google AdSense) to deliver advertisements.
- Content-delivery and security providers (such as Cloudflare) to serve the Site reliably and to protect it from abuse.
These providers operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them:
- Google: policies.google.com/privacy
- Cloudflare: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
6. Your Choices
6.1 Cookie Controls
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. See our Cookies Policy for details, including links to opt-out tools offered by the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI), the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA), and the DAA’s AppChoices program.
6.2 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our Site does not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals because no industry standard has been finalized for how sites should respond. However, we honor the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal as a valid request to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under applicable state privacy laws (see Section 8).
6.3 Marketing Emails
We do not currently send marketing or promotional emails. If we begin to, we will include an unsubscribe link in every commercial message and honor opt-out requests promptly as required by the CAN-SPAM Act, 15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it promptly, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), 15 U.S.C. § 6501 et seq. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected].

10. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and in other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. The data-protection laws of those jurisdictions may differ from the laws of your country. By using the Site, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site contains links to third-party websites, services, and resources. This Policy does not apply to any third-party site or service. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any third-party site.
